In the previous game, we struggled in the 1st half, then made some effective adjustments for the 2nd. In this game, we seem to have executed well in the 1st half........
We’re fouling….or are the refs just calling fouls? Saw the damndest call against Clark in the first 5 minutes of the game. Knew the kind of night it would be. Nice win anyway
Was a little concerned that we would live and die by the three. But the 2nd half they attacked the basket and played a different game.
Have I mentioned that I'm a L. Paris fan? I like what I see. I am concerned long term that a good many of these players are seniors but having a decent year will allow the younger guys to grow. Should also help recruiting.

Bball is a sport where you can live by the portal. So he should be fine while he builds HS talent.
It's odd. We have more posts and comments when we lose than when we win. I guess some just need something to complain about.
Late night, Friday night. Neutral site. This game felt like a NCAA Tournament game rather than a match with an old Metro Conference member. I think Virginia Tech was a six point favorites so this win represents progress. Just really happy with the win and really glad that Mack was not injured when he came off the court in the first half.
Like the fact that we have multiple threats and ways to score on offense.
Defense is much better.
Need to work on rebounding.

I've seen some preseason ACC rankings and they have VA Tech at #7 which would put them either in the tourney or very close to it. Do I think we are a tourney team? No. Will my eyes bleed like they did the last year watching this team? No. This team can shoot and seem to have jelled very well. Once Murray-Broyles is back, he will give us more quality depth.

Very good victory. Something they can build on for sure. It definitely seems like addition by subtraction for this group. GG is a great talent, but not ready to be the man. Now that they don't have a "superstar" to lean on - the team is going to have to lean on each other and play together.
