Seems like it has to be .
Can't see anything but a terribly disappointing year if we can't turn it around this week.
If we end the week 2-3 in conference it will feel like we have some control of our destiny for the rest of the year. If we end the week 0-5 everyone will start waiting for baseball to start.
My 2 cents.

MBB schedule is brutal. I don't see a surefire win on the schedule the rest of the way. We can win, but every game is going to be a dogfight. Tomorrow's game against Vandy is about as easy as it gets and they have been a sneaky good team. 13-3 and has beaten a common opponent on the Gamecocks' schedule, Va. Tech. Nevertheless, we have to get this game or where are the victories going to come from?

Agree. People's interest in MBB seems to be slipping already.
Hope it turns around this week!

The Myles Stute situation has been a disappointment. I think he has been suffering for a while with the blood clot in his leg. He just hasn't looked good at all on the court. He averaged 8.3 points last year and thought he could be a double digit guy this year. Group that with Jamarii Thomas being out and that really puts Carolina in a hole. I would have to say 3-14 or 4-13 in Conference play.

Tough ask. Have to win 1 of the 2, or else the players will quit. Then have to play Florida as tough as we did Auburn & have a shot. Can't get blown out. Team is hanging by a thread right now.

SEC is probably more powerful in Bball this year than in football. Last season was an outlier, this season is going to be more of what we really have in Bball. Paris got his big raise, he doesn't feel any pressure to perform now.
