I mean she could be a heartbeat from the presidency with essentially an 80 year old man at the helm. I hope she knows what she's doing getting into this because I had actually never even heard of her until this morning. Alaska politics just doesn't happen to be the first thing I look for in the newspaper.

Pawlenty would have faced crap for his "I will finish my second term." Romey has too many haters (though I like him), and I think McCain will pull Michigan anyway after Barack refusing to acknowledge it in primaries. Pawlenty is a good choice because they're exploiting the fact that 20% of Clinton supporters plan to vote for McCain. It'll probably jump to 40%, and that'll be more helpful in swing states than a single candidate from one.

Likely just trying to snag all the white females he can. Probably figures most all the AA vote (male and female) is going to go to Obama anyway.

My biggest beef with Obama is that he wants to give tax breaks to working families. Sounds great, right? The problem is that he classifies an individual who will not show up for work as a working family, while a guy who works 80 hours per week is not a working family.

Work 10 hours per week = working family
Work 80 hours per week = not working family

Go figure that logic.

of their campaign that your candidacy is nothing more than "4 more years of George Bush" you certainly don't select your VP from George Bush's [17n] cabinet.
