He only scored in double figures twice all season I think. Other than that, he was basically a warm body to give Rose a breather. The team has enough athletic & talented guards that Cal will be able to slide some players around to let Rose get a breather.</p>
On a side note, per the Commercial Appeal, this was apparently a drug related suspension; maybe a failed random drug test by the NCAA after last weekend's game. Wonder if he was toking up at the hotel with anyone else on the team? Did Memphis get lucky that Allen was the one selected for the "random" drug test? This isn't some conspiracy theory, just wondering. Also, this is Allen's 2nd time to get in trouble. The last time was for soliciting a prostitute. I know he is the midget backup on the team, but you have to wonder how the guy still can't get anyone to sling some leg for him and has to resort to a hooker.</p>
