I sure as h**l hope there are not 3 ACC teams in the FF. We'll never hear the end of that! However, they have always been a BB conference. They slipped earlier in the season only to get better in the end. I'm betting that Puke wins it all to send Coach K away!

The irony is that the ACC was founded with football in mind.

McGuire's "feud" with Everett Case, and FM's 1956-57 Tarhole squad winning the national title changed it completely.

Bet you're a happy camper - Duke vs UNC in FF. :ROFLMAO:

The ACC has reasserted its old-time eminence this postseason. The SEC, contrary to the earlier assertions of its coaches and people who cover the league, has demonstrated its irrelevance. It's as simple as that.

Throw the Big10 in there as well. 9 teams in the tournament, 0 in Elite 8.

I know and not a moment too soon. If I have to hear another set of commentators verbally slob his knob too much more I'm going to go insane. The night they won to get to the Final Four was unbearable.
Two detestable programs are about to meet. But I hate UNC worse.

Well I for one will be pulling for Duke. My sister graduated from there, so there is some emotional attachment.

Feel free to pile on. (Disclaimer: no matter how hard some may try, there will be no dissuading arguments that will be effective)

I have first cousins once-removed who graduated from Dook, and another from Clemron. No emotional attachment at all. Sounds like your Blue Devil attachment is comparable to mine from Davidson, which I attended for a couple of years before xferring to USC.

It's kind of poetic that Coach K will either get redemption against UNC in the FF to make it to the title game, after losing to them in Coach K's final home game, or he will have his career ended with consecutive losses to UNC.

Which would be a blight on his soul and a pox on his legacy.
