I know there are very few if any that attend or follow on this board but we were #5 in the country last week and took down #4 Ohio State last week. Should be #3 or #4 this week. We have the #1 doubles team in the country.

If you haven't been, these matches are very entertaining. They are free and there's not a bad seat in the house. I took my son Friday (we go to most home matches) and watched an hour+ of beach volleyball before walking 50 yards to the tennis courts.

Startin' the kid off right. Did you give him some pointers on what to look for (uh, rules wise) during the beach volleyball contest?

That's all we need.
The NCAA does sponsor men's (non-beach) volleyball at the D-1 level. Most schools which sponsor D-1 men's volleyball are either in the B1G footprint or are on the west coast.

It's kind of silly for USC to sponsor beach volleyball in addition to "regular" volleyball; wish the school had started a gymnastics program instead.

Now that the SCHSL is sponsoring boys volleyball, hopefully that will encourage USC to add men's volleyball as a varsity sport at some point..

If they start mens volleyball, they'll need to start another women's sport. Unfortunately, it likely won't happen.

It’s little known by most fans how nice the athletic village is. The tennis matches and beach volleyball games are a ton of fun! Also as mentioned, the men are killing it this year! Would love to see them win a championship

Folks are really missing out. We certainly enjoy football and basketball games but an afternoon of tennis and volleyball in the village is right up there.

True, but I can dream. I can dream that we never left the ACC, and the ACC remained at 8 members and became the premier basketball league in the nation bar none.
