I have often mentioned that my Dad was Byzantine Catholic and my Mom was Orthodox so growing up we celebrated Christmas twice, on December 25th and today, January 7th. The Gambits celebrate on the 25th, but today is still a special day in my heart and in my memories. Merry Christmas to all and may God bless us, every one.

😳😳😳

it actually includes duck blood

My father's mother was a very successful bootlegger in Nanticoke, PA.
Bobchie had a concrete basement where she kept her chickens, ducks very clean and fed. She also owned a few other residential properties other than the one mentioned here. She was a very intelligent Russian Orthodox lady that i miss to this day.

😢

A very nice gesture on your part , but not all Orthodox Christians celebrate the same calander for certain holidays . Greek and other Orthodox backgrounds celebrate the same days for regular holidays .The word comes from two Greek words Orthos and Doxa meaning right belief or right faith , btw the base of the Christian faith ,

But it is as stated a very nice gesture on your part , in offering said best wishes to the believers .
