Miami being Miami. Self destruction in series where they recovered a ND fumble inside the ND 25. Couldn't get the TD and then on the FG try, bad snap and hold leads to no points.
ND's defense is really good again.
Let me add Miami is still a bad tackling team in the back end.

True. However there’s a huge advantage in Beck vs Carr. Miami wins this one.
I don't know. Miami has had better field position in the 1st quarter and hasn't scored. It is very/hot humid & raining. Both teams subbing liberally on defense.
Score one for you. Beck just threw a beautiful TD pass to Freshman WR Malachi Toney who looks great.
ND's running game kicking in. Jadarian(sp?) Price is super quick/fast.
Fantastic scramble by ND QB C.J. Carr as Miami secondary lost coverage in end zone and Carr throws a TD pass. No Miami defender near the WR.
I think Carr's been solid so far--not great or perfect obviously but another tough "first start" situation.
Miami’s OL is going to wear out ND’s DL y the 4th quarter. Those 1st down runs between the tackles seem stupid now, but let’s wait a few minutes.

Miami just imposed their will on their opening drive if 2bd half to go up 21-7. Beck playing great, under control.
During an interview he indicated he was rarely allowed to audible at the LOS when he QBd at Georgia. Given so much more freedom at Miami. It is evident as he seems much more relaxed in the pocket.
Let's see if ND stays with their run game for their first 2nd half possession.
Notre Dame getting some help at the end of the 3rd quarter. Miami tackled too long, but Umpire watched #15 grab a facemask and throw a punch earlier. Pass Interference was weak. Could have been offensive on a pick play.
Officials are selectively inserting themselves into this game.

They didn’t get flagged for tacking too long. The guy got flagged for jumping in to tackle after he lost his helmet. Thats a 15 yard penalty in college
And ND DB just got away with a blatant holding so they penalized the Miami OL.
Refs doing everything they can to make sure ND has a shot to win in this 2 game season they have.
How many more of these idiot OC's across both college and NFL are gonna keep running that horizontal screen to the WR that never works because defenses are too fast and can easily swarm it? ND just ran it again and Miami jumped it for a deflection pick.
