Just another damn thing that OSU and UM are better at than us. Oh well, I’m certain this will be the lead story on the BIG network tonight. Why does all the media ignore real or imagined scandals at PSU?

In the study it states, "Also, it's important to note that the historic sexual abuse at the hands of college physicians accounts for the top 2 schools on the list."

Gotta be honest. I think this article is BS. I’ve never been to Ann Arbor, but I find it hard to believe there’s more violence on campus there than some of the inner city schools (like Temple for instance) across the U.S.?

My buddy’s kid went there. Graduated last year. They were constantly getting violent crime alerts on their phones. Shootings, etc. Dining halls were getting shut down because people from the surrounding neighborhoods were coming on campus and going in the dining halls and other school buildings. They even have a police station on campus and this stuff is still happening.

Xavier is the 2nd most violent crime college per 100,000 students. 99% of all violent crime at Xavier is RAPE. Basically, all violent crime at Xavier is rape, and there’s a lot of it. That’s astonishing.

My oldest received his undergraduate degree at Temple while living in Fishtown As well. He would giggle at your fear as well as your stereotyping of the situation at that University.

I wonder how many of these alleged rapes in a given academic year were perpetrated by students versus non-students. Broadly, to what extent do these crime statistics reflect on the character of the students these schools are bringing in versus the safety of the surrounding community, or lack thereof?

The study said that Michigan’s and OSU’s numbers were skewed up by the sex crimes committed by team doctors.

He can giggle all he wants. That was the situation on campus as of last school year.

There’s a ton of car jackings going on at Temple this year. It’s very dangerous.

Try telling Tgar that. He seems to think I’m making it up. I forgot to include the armed robbery of 11 Temple students at their off campus apartment last year just blocks away from campus. They were ordered into their basement at gun point, tied up, and robbed.

I suggest tittering once in a while, as an alternative to giggling. Just to mix it up.

Plus the word “titter” may well trigger more giggling.
