Not much info out there. Just a medical event at home and he was rushed to hospital. I would guess heart attack. From the reports, it doesn’t sound good . Says he needs a miracle. Prayers for him and his family.
No idea, but some people aren't capable of slowing down.FWIW....post on Twitter about congestive heart issues...was supposedly detected earlier. Not sure why Mike was not being treated or taking a break if this was known.
He's 61.
This is what the Clarion-Ledger is reporting. It sounds very dire.Lane posted a tweet last night, all in the past tense, and then deleted it. My guess (please note I say guess, nothing definitive) is massive heart attack.
I saw that. It does not sound good at all. Naming the interim immediately. Putting out there that they are waiting for all his kids to get there. Not good at all. This is what the Clarion-Ledger is reporting. It sounds very dire.
The news story stated that he had been some time getting medical help and being revived, hence, loss of oxygen to the brain for some time - very ominous.I saw that. It does not sound good at all. I saw that too. I have a feeling we'll be getting sad news from MSU in the near future. The news story stated that he had been some time getting medical help and being revived, hence, loss of oxygen to the brain for some time - very ominous.
I remember Joe's passing like it was yesterday. I feel bad for Mike Leachs' family including the Miss. State family. Condolences to them. May he RIP.I can't remember any Div-1 coach passing while active since we lost Coach Joe.
Some of us old enough, feel their pain.![]()
I think the Penn St/Paterno thing may have been worse on any of their fans. That was a dreadful ending.I remember Joe's passing like it was yesterday. I feel bad for Mike Leachs' family including the Miss. State family. Condolences to them. May he RIP.
At least Coach Leach ended his career on a high note. His legacy will always be marked by that. But it is a terrible, hurtful loss on so many fronts.I think the Penn St/Paterno thing may have been worse on any of their fans. That was a dreadful ending.
Hard to go out any better. Winning over the bitter & favored in-state rival. At least Coach Leach ended his career on a high note. His legacy will always be marked by that. But it is a terrible, hurtful loss on so many fronts.
