Northwestern gave Mike Wright the start at quarterback Saturday against Miami (Ohio), making it the third power conference program where he has been a starter.

Be interesting to see how he does with a different coordinator. I know he’s not going to be a good passing qb but I think a good coordinator would be able to make him reasonably effective.Hope he runs for 350. Mike’s a good guy
You didn't miss anything by checking out. He started a few games when we were flailing and thrashing around, sinking in open water. Arnett was in so far over his head he saw the Titanic wreckage. He had to try anything to get a W, or at least get some momentum.I must have checked out of last season as I had no clue he started 3 games for us.
Best that place can get a little chilly in the winter.I still can't get over this stadium . . .
