"The Aggies aren't alone. Virginia Tech, Pittsburgh, Michigan and Mississippi State all know what it feels like to lose to non-BCS schools in their opener."
So here's my question: was ours the worst loss of the weekend?

And there's this gem from the Chaney update:
"last season's opener was even worse for the Bulldogs. LSU crushed Mississippi State, 45-0, in Starkville, but the Bulldogs still recovered to win eight games. So keep the faith -- and hope the Bulldogs grow up on offense in a hurry"
It hasn't happened in 5 years, so one more week should do the trick.

1. ECU over Va Tech
2. La Tech over MSU
3. ASU over A&M
4. BG over Pitt
5. Utah over Michigan (This shouldn't even be considered in this group.)

We have one week to fix that disaster we say Saturday night. Otherwise if we choke this week, we will lose so much more than a game. Croom better be nervous and getting his things together.

not the worse loss. But could be one of the most shocking losses we have had under Croom. In the past we haven't expected victories or had a previous season of winning under our belt. This time we were.</p>

ECU over Virginia Tech was not the worst. That game was picked as the most likely upset of the first week by a lot of people. It was a close game last year, ECU was 9-4 last year including a bowl win over Boise State, and brought pretty much everyone back besides Chris Johnson. VT is lost a lot of talent to the NFL from last year's team. ECU should be a 10 win team this year. ECU - VT is in the same category as Utah Michigan. Same for Bowling Green over Pitt; BG was a bowl team last year and Pitt was an overrated team coming off a 4 win season.

Ark St over A&M and La Tech beating us are much worse than the others.
