Honestly should've been gone the moment he decided to quit on the team to preserve his eligibility. I appreciate his talent but you can't let that sort of behavior slide. Did anyone really think he was coming back? Then why was he allowed to stay on and around the team after he redshirted. Weird situation.
because the coach was gullible enough to believe him when Creed told him that he was coming back next year, and just wanted to redshirt this year. All Creed wanted to do was keep his NIL money train in tact through the end of the season. And he accomplished his goal. Dude is a low life liarThen why was he allowed to stay on and around the team after he redshirted. Weird situation.
When people would question it on Twitter, players would jump in and defend him being on the sidelines like we didn’t know the whole story. Like maybe there was a chance he was coming back but it looks like that wasn’t the case.Honestly should've been gone the moment he decided to quit on the team to preserve his eligibility. That was obvious when he red shirted himself. What??????????????
I don’t know if this coaching staff is a clown show or a **** show.Wait - he chose to redshirt himself and people chose to believe he was going to come back? No wonder we suck. We are a program filled with stupid and gullible people. Nuke everything.
Believing he was coming back was crazy, but for them to look like bigger fools than they already have, they would have to give Hutzler an extension.Just when you thought this coaching staff couldn’t look like bigger fools, they prove you wrong.
I thought the same. If you were his parent and he came to play for Mike Leach then you get the Arnett clown show followed by this staff, what would you tell him ?This staff is showing their incompetence. I don't blame him
Plenty of other examples of soft-asś culture well before this….like Lanier not being kicked off the team mid-game in Athens after his pathetic “tackle” attempt on the UGA WR at the 3 yard line. Not only did that not happen, he went right back in the game.Letting quitters hang around the team is worse for culture than a linebacker punching a QB at practice. Clear sign this staff doesn’t know what they’re doing.
Yeah, Saban could get away with a lot. He was the best college coach of the last couple of generations. A first year HC ain't Saban. Good grief you people are dumber than I always thought you were, and that is amazing in and of itself.Plenty of other examples of soft-asś culture well before this….like Lanier not being kicked off the team mid-game in Athens after his pathetic “tackle” attempt on the UGA WR at the 3 yard line. Saban would have personally undressed him on the sideline, have security escort him out of the stadium, then find out where his parents were sitting and have them escorted out too…..just to make sure he’d have a ride home.
If he came to play for Mike Leach and not Mississippi State......hopefully the door hits him on the way out. You Leach groupies, and that IS what you are, have lost the plot. It ain't about him or any other coach.I thought the same. It’s more that he came for a really good coach who could develop him as a player and be in a good culture that fit what he wanted out of football. If he came to play for Mike Leach and not Mississippi State......hopefully the door hits him on the way out. Good riddance then, you are saying he was a groupie like you, and not a serious athlete. It’s more that he came for a really good coach who could develop him as a player and be in a good culture that fit what he wanted out of football.
Instead he got the Arnett clown car and now this staff.........
Calm down. Leach would have done the same thing. As would any other head coach that ever roamed a sideline before 2020 or so.Yeah, Saban could get away with a lot. He was the best college coach of the last couple of generations. A first year HC ain't Saban. Good grief you people are dumber than I always thought you were, and that is amazing in and of itself.
Lol, Leach does not equal Saban. That you are even implying that.....LMAO.Calm down. Leach would have done the same thing. As would any other head coach that ever roamed a sideline before 2020 or so.
What? Are you on drugs? Please show where I said Leach equaled Saban. Or, more accurately, where I said that literally every single college head coach before 2020 that ever roamed a sideline is also equal to Saban?Lol, Leach does not equal Saban. That you are even implying that.....LMAO.
He was just saying the cultural norm for coaches was to react the way Saban would in that era , not that Leach is Nick Saban.Lol, Leach does not equal Saban. That you are even implying that.....LMAO.
Saban was at LEAST one era ahead of Leach. I'd say it's more like two or three. Leach was a complete dinosaur by the time we hired him.He was just saying the cultural norm for coaches was to react the way Saban would in that era , not that Leach is Nick Saban.
lol
Read your own post in this thread. Now you are trying to back track. I would too if I were you. Hilarious! What? Are you on drugs? Please show where I said Leach equaled Saban. Or, more accurately, where I said that literally every single college head coach before 2020 that ever roamed a sideline is also equal to Saban?
The culture of our program is soft as hell. The sorry as fucķing shít effort that Lanier displayed on that play would have warranted an immediate benching for the remainder of the game at a minimum, along with a very likely suspension in any real college football program….and him getting kicked off the team wouldn’t have been out of the question if there were prior instances of similar lack of effort. But here, the result was none of those 3 things.
