Missouri is bad. They just are. They measure out worse offensively than us, far worse defensively, and they are an atrocious rebounding team, literally one of the worst in the country.

They do two things well.
  • They are an outstanding free throw shooting team. But the are last in the conference and in the bottom 50 nationally in FT attempts.
  • They take pretty good care of the ball, around top 100 in the country in turnover margin.

Simple game plan again for this game.
  • Don't foul and give Mizzou easy points. We did a great job of this against Georgia.
  • Limit the turnovers. Again, we were much better in this regard against Georgia.
  • Get every rebound. Every single one, offensive or defensive.
Sean East is pretty widely considered the best player for the Tigers, and he is still the leading scorer on the season. But beware Tamar Bates. He's been on a heater lately, including games of 36 against Florida and 29 against Arkansas. He's made 36 straight free throws and is an insane 64-67 on the year.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that it's a road game. We've uhhhhh.... not been good on the road. We don't have to be perfect to win this one, but nor can we sleepwalk into their arena and expect them to roll over. While they are 0-10, most of the losses have been close. Bring the intensity, don't try to do too much, and hopefully things will take care of themselves.

Doesn't matter who we play in the SEC.....from top to bottom, we can beat anybody and we can lose to anybody.

Vegas has us favored by 6.5, which at first glance I thought was low but I get that we have stunk on the road.

Gotta win this one, no good excuse not to.
