Padres really got screwed by the umps. No dog in this fight, but the game should be tied now. Padre fans must be sick.

I assume you mean the bad called strike for a K. I didn't watch. Why should it have been tied?

Padres would have had bases loaded and no outs. Slow roller to Swanson, gets the out at first. Run scores and it's 2nd and 3rd one out. Fly ball to deep center field ties the game. Padres would still have a runner at 2nd with two outs and a tie game. Instead the fly ball to center ends the game. Thankfully teams can challenge balls/strikes next year.

Stankees up 4-0 thanks to the Red Sux poor defense.

I like baseball just not either of these teams.

Schlittler is throwing a gem for the NY Yankees against the Red Sox, in Game 3 of the Wild Card series.

Sox in deep trouble down by 4 in 7th. Yankee kid Schlittler is the real deal.

The Detroit - Seattle 1st game has been really entertaining. Playoff baseball is a different beast

Detroit just took a 3-2 lead in the top the 11th on a ball that barely made it out of the infield (broken bat; slowly hit, but perfectly placed up the middle), to plate the runner from 2nd base.

G2 of the Seattle - Detroit series is another thriller.

The Mariners were up 2-0 on 2 solo HRs. Then in the top of the 8th, Detroit tied it (2 on, and ?? hit a double). So the Mariners come right back and go double, double, to take a 3-2 lead.

Mariners still at bat in the bottom of the 8th, 1st & 3rd, 1 out,, Suarez at bat.

Edit: Suarez grounds to 3rd, and the 3rd baseman throws home and gets the runner at the plate. Now 2 out, men on 1st & 2nd, and the Tigers are making a pitching change

Mariners win G2, 3-2, so the series is tied, 1-1.

I think Seattle's fans over G1 & G2 gave the Phillies fans at Citizen Bank Park a run for the title of loudest home fans in the playoffs.

Good for the Cubs. Down 2-0 in the NLDS, they won G3, 4-3, at home. Some good plays by both teams in the game.

I didn't watch Dodgers @ Brewers last night but this morning I saw a replay of the Brewers routine 8-6-2 double play to end an inning. The Brewers lost but I'd still like to see them take the series.
