fight? One of the best I've seen in a while- the undercard fight with Torres vs. the Japanese guy was amazing also- which CBS had carried those two.

The Faber/Pulver was solid. The Torres undercard fight was actually much better to me except for the stoppage.

The first fight last night was as bad as I have seen in a long time. In all seriousness, those guys shouldn't have been paid.

Mccoullough fight? If so, that was pretty lame- looked like "Dancing With the Stars" or some ****. Yeah that Torres fight was non-stop- would love to see that rematch.

That's right. He was fighting Kenneth Alexander (from Jones County no less). Absolutely horrible from both fighters. I have no idea how the judges even rendered a decision because neither fighter did anything at all. Nada.

I actually disagreed with the decision to award the win to McCullough and two of the judges actually gave it to him 30-27. I don't see any way an impatrial judge watches that fight and scores all THREE rounds for McCullough.

thought Alexander squeaked by, if I was forced to choose. By the way, I don't think you'll ever hear Jens Pulver and "glass jaw" in the same sentence. How many bombs did he absorb? Jesus.

Pulver's face looked like hamburger after that fight...
He had those damn cauliflower ears too.

Did anyone see Kimbo blow up that ear on Saturday night??
I had to watch it on You Tube since Comcast in Jackson tape delayed it, then started the whole delayed broadcast over when it got to the Kimbo fight..
Damn Baptist...

Faber is definitly quicker than I already thought he was. Pulver was great at defending against Faber's ground game but that is all he really did. He defended and didn't really do much offense except for some of those flurries. I hated the way he was talking to him the whole time. I was pulling for Pulver and wanted to see him focused and concentrating in that final round, but we got a bunch of eye touching and small talk from him.
I kept thinking that if Jens would just focus and continue his barrage when he had him against the cage that he would have a shot at the knock out.

jens was dog tired and you have to think that those shots he was taking were hindering his ability to really focus on anthing else other than trying to get his wits and pretend that he's not hurt. make no mistake, jens pulver is one tough guy and i personally don't see how he was able to take all those shots he did and not go night night. also, i've never seen anyone get out of uriah's grasp once he gets them on the ground, until last night. pound for pound, right now, uriah faber is the best mma fighter in the world, in my oppinion. i hope they get a rematch and i hope jens knocks him out.

You think he is better than Anderson Silvia?
I would love to see a GSP vs Silvia fight. Thats what ABC should have pushed for ( I know its UFC )
