Ive spent a bit of time reading up on most of the players and watching as much YouTube footage as i can.

With quite a few players especially on defence leaving at the end of the season, it will be interesting to see who the replacements will be.

Mo is an interesting one. One of the most highly rated players a few years ago and won most improved. But the last 2 years have been ruined by injury. Seems a really good kid too.

can he make a comeback next season and get his career back on track? Or has the injuries done him? He was off the injury report last week and was on the sideline but not suited up to play. I believe he has 2 years left. Would be great to see him see some more positive luck.

Pretty sure he is out of eligibility. I would say Fred Johnson and Ronnie Porter are the front runners for next season and after that it's pretty wide open.

I read somewhere he has 1-2 years left. Need to wait and see i guess. Will be difficult for him to get back to his early promise with the injury problems hes had

Without going back and looking (it does seem like he’s been here for 10yrs), you’d think he would qualify for a medical rs year. Maybe he already has - like I said; haven’t gone back to look….

Okay, so my own curiosity got the best of me.
according to gamecocksonline.com , he’s a RS Senior. Maybe he can apply for a 6th year via medical RS?

“True inside linebacker who returns for his fifth season in 2024… has had his last two seasons end prematurely due to ACL injuries… was hurt in the second game of the 2022 season and in the opener of the 2023 campaign… was a Freshman All-SEC performer in 2020… has appeared in 25 games with five starts over the past four seasons, but in just three games in the last two years.”

3 games in two years :-(
Always sad to see bad injuries, especially to players who have shown such big promise

He's got '25 if he wants it. If pre-injury Mo can play, he'll be a productive starter. I worry the injuries have lessened him as a player.

I wish he'd give us another shot, but this is completely understandable. He needs a fresh start.

I hope he has a great year.

Everyone was pulling for him after the first knee surgery. Dude played with fire and was a leader. Then the second knee surgery and he probably see's the writing on the wall. He could contribute somewhere else possibly, hope he does. A True Gamecock.

He had 1 in high school also so he’s had 3 and just hasn’t been able to regain the lateral movement or speed to compete on the SEC level. Hoping he goes somewhere that he can standout and make the most of his final year.
