Monte Lee - recruits at Clemson

I've watched a few Clemson games over the past couple of years and they've got some solid players. Does anyone have any idea how many were recruited by Monte Lee? A few notables: Caden Grice, Billy Amick (now with Tennessee), Cam Canneralla. I know Erik Bakich brought some of them from Michigan when he took the job.

You can give monte the credit for Amick but he wasn’t the pull. That family has long been intertwined with Clemson. He only left because he wanted to play third. Blake wright plays third and has better numbers than Amick believe it or not. Close to being even though. That was a case of two wanting to ride the same house. Bakich chose the best rider.

That wasn’t an argument that he can’t recruit. Recruiting is not what is to worry about. His offensive mindset is a big big problem. Also the reason he failed at Clemson.

Not to argue but I have not been impressed with Lee’s offensive approach under Kingston- poor situational hitting, poor with RISP, led league in strikeouts

Clemsons runs alone double Bakich first year. Went from 200-400. But keep doubting.

He is more analytics driven than Kingston was....as are many younger coaches.
