Interesting and entertaining presentation and discussion re: all PSU sports.

I have known for years, looks good with added weight from retirement (he says not so) and lots of golf and a really good tan. He is not in favor of individual player monies that may upset the 'team performance level' as all members of a team should/could/will play for the team rather than individual advertising paychecks. Does understand this is probably here to stay, as PSU is working on an approach for all 890 student athletes to participate. Fantastic message for fan support and recognition when athletes are out in public.

A very high energy 'cheerleader' with loads of personality and a clear straight forward message.
Played for Indiana and lost to PSU and Joe in Beaver Stadium.
Brings loads of professional experience to PSU AD position -- probably his dream job.
Has Bachelor, Master and Doctorate degrees from Indiana Univ. in --- Sports Administration and Management.
Athletic Department is bloated and people are being eliminated and moved to better suit sports management
Beaver Stadium will not be torn down - a total rehab of bathrooms, concessions, seats, the West Side, an inside concourse and better entry gates. The big erector set has history and memories to many, though built in sections - over time will be put together as one building.
Hired 2 Mental Health professionals for all student athletes. Other Big schools have many -- we need more to manage stress of competing and school work.
We only have 1 Physical Therapist while Big schools have average 9 -- we need more.
Russ Rose and Char Moret acting as sports advisors 24/7/365 ....... coaches need help too.
Yes, FOX has the first pick on many fall games, however Penn State is negotiating on every game for the best media advantage. So far with other teams on other networks, Iowa should be the white out game. Too cold for Michigan.
Previous AD's and department had too many sections, different titles and problems -- now this entire Department will act as one sports management activity for all student athletes, alumni and fans -- all Penn State !
