...The two teams that he labeled as "dangerous" and "wouldn't want to play THEM in the tournament" are the first two teams in the conference to have their season mercifully end.

Coach34. The tradition continues.

is that the entire reason he said they matched up badly (a bunch of guards and forwards shooting 3's) is the same reason he posted saying that Lebo lost (he needs to recruit a center). So which is it? They match up bad because they have no center, or they need a center to win?

NOWHERE did I say there was any reason to fear Auburn in the Tourney. LSU got out-played today, it happens.

Its Bizarro year for me on predictions (which has been a good thing for Bulldog athletics.) So aGAIN I say- no way Ricky makes a Sweet 16 this seasn...no way

No, but you chirped all season about how we needed to fear Auburn, and how much of a matchup problem they were, etc.

Nice work, Coach Knight.

It's amazing how good a floor coach you can be with 5 future NBA players on your team.

I bet BD is re-thinking his decisions to turn down Kentucky and back track on that Orlando deal.

Donovan has some really young good players and will be extremely good next year. Just wait till he adds another recruiting class to what he had this year.

And I still dont know who has replaced him as the best floor coach. Its not Pearl

Most coaches struggle with young, inexperienced players. Come on guys, you don't win back to back titles by being a slouch. I think he is the best floor coach in the conference. That doesn't mean he'll outcoach you and beat you every night, that means that over the long haul his teams are consistently good. If you look at the past 8-10 years Florida and UK are the two winningest SEC programs, with MSU in 3rd. That's why I like Donovan and Stansbury (and by the way, this isn't a direct comparison). Both have had their stuggles in the opening weekend of the NCAAs, Stansbury obviously more than Donovan. However, both consistently win, they win conference hardware, they get their teams to postseason play. Donovan is obviously better, but the point is both are consistent. How anyone can rag on Donovan after winning back to back titles, losing all his starters, and then falling just short of the NCAAs is beyond me.

I don't know exactly, but I imagine it helps if you're an idiot.

I predicted that Donovan would be a prick this season and he came through for me. Now I'm not predicting that his team either runs out on him or gives up on him next year, but I sure hope it happens. He needs to learn when to shut the hell up. When he gets his *** handed to him, he blames his players and never gives credit to other teams and when he's blaming his players it's more like throwing them under the bus from "Speed." Hopefully the bus slows down and blows up in his face.

One of the guys on 93.9 this morning was ragging on Donovan too. His co-hosts were trying to explain the whole "he lost all the starters" thing to him.

"Donovan has some really young good players and will be extremely good next year" He disagrees with you. Pretty much threw this recruiting class under the bus with his comments last night.
