Yeah. It’s weird & gimmicky. But pretty good action on the return. Not sure I like it, but much better than a kick into the end zone or a fair catch at the 5. What’s next, line 10 guys up 20 yards downfield on punts?

No more surprise ones. If you want to do an onsides the refs will be notified and the players will line up in the standard formation.

No reason for punts to change. The issue with KOs was that it was a whole team running full speed into essentially stationary return team. Had a much higher rate of injury. Punt coverage is set up just like any other play where the return team is running downfield in stride with punt coverage.
