I know it's tough with a noon kickoff, but are there any plans for a bar takeover in Morgantown?

Has been 40 yrs since I've been in Morgantown and I have no idea what the college town vibe is there. Anyone familiar?

What do you get when you have 32 West Virginian bar flies?

A full set of teeth.
I heard that joke with the set up line being:

What do you call the first row at a Garth Brooks concert?

I went to Morgantown in '84 as a sophomore when we lost for first time in forever. State cop recommended to me and my buddies we turn our PSU sweatshirts inside out if we wanted to live through the night. Overturned cars, couches burning in the streets. As a kid from South Boston i couldn't comprehend the ***-backwardness of that town. Still don't.

For those attending, here is my advice (tic), from General Mathis...

I went to just about every PSU/WVU away game in the late 60's, 70's and 80's. Never encountered any problems and had a pretty good time. Now, that was then. WVU fans were way more accommodating than Pitt's. Can't speak for what it's like now.

I used to call on WVU for business in the later 80's. I always got the feeling they respected PSU a lot. However, they hated Pitt with a passion, probably much more than we do. Granted, I was dealing with faculty and administrators at WVU, not the students or local nut cases that make up a good portion of the crowd.
