While I tend to think that there are only so many ways to tell the Batman story, and Hollywood has pretty much used them all up, the lone spark of intrigue with this version is that it’s supposed to be about his early days of fighting crime (before all of the gadgets), and leans heavily on his detective skills. I’m doubtful they can pull it off, but at least it’s a subtle new twist.
