Well to be fair… that type of thread happens damn near every year and every year the people acting like the sky is falling are made to look like idiots.

March 6th was 2 days after March 4th, which is the day that most everyone paying attention knew that we were done playing for anything substantial this season.

Not really sure why people draw a huge distinction between sneaking into a regional as a 3-seed and going 1-2/0-2 (which was the absolute ceiling after losing Sims / Simmons), or falling anywhere on the spectrum below that. In the long term grand scheme of things, it really doesn’t matter. We had more injuries after that and we tumbled even further down the rabbit hole. It is what it is.
