Why is the Home Field dugout located on the Third Base side of the field here,
since it it usually behind on the First Base side? I don't know if i have ever seen
it different than that anywhere else. Inquiring minds want to know.

It varies based on the field. Most teams use first base, but quite a few are third base side as well. It is up to the home team.

Another observation is, doodie noble is supposed to be one of the best college stadiums in the country, but their bullpens suck. Also screw Chris lamonis. What a douche

Virginia's home dugout is on third baseline, too.

If I had to guess, a factor may be the direction of the field. I know in HS some of the teams that have their dugout on the 3rd base side want the sun beating down on the visiting dugout.
