MSU and um screwed by mistaken identity?

I have always wondered if the pollsters ever screw one or both of us due to not knowing the difference between the schools.

The amount of votes that um is getting makes me wonder if they are getting some of our votes - we actually lost votes in the poll after winning at Houston.

I believe that this happens to both schools in all sports - throw USM in there, and you have a real mess. I believe that the big 3 should cooperatively send a one page glossy out to the media and coaches explaining the difference.

If anyone watched USM and UTEP blow the games against Ole Miss, they wouldn't have moved them up in the polls. They see a final score and move them up. Half of the nation probably thinks that UM was preseason 18 and lost to Rider.

Remember the NIT Final Four preview when Ole Miss was in there? On the front page of yahoosports the preview talked about how Ohio State would have problems with Rebel stars Jamont Gordon and Charles Rhodes.

is 10-1 by their name. They know the difference but they don't know how they won. If they win tonight, they are a top 20 team.
