I'm sure there have been plenty of these types of posts, but here are reasons from tonight's game that absolutely put me over the edge with ole #1 and the whole damn thing:
1) It's ridiculous to lose a Friday night game due to leaving a pitcher in too long.
2) Johnny Allen let a ball get past him that hit him in the facemask. If Ryan Duffy still has use of his arms and legs, screw the lefty-righty crap for your #8 hitter and use a defensive sub. Or even Brooks Lewis. Use one.
3) Do any of our pitchers have a third pitch? The kind you use when you're ahead in the count and need to put a guy away?
4) Baseball-related Pros of Andy Wilson: He's left-handed, and ... ?
5) Is it too much to ask that we develop a 3B that can play defense too?
I haven't been one to blame Polk or be down on the program in general, but these are patterns, not isolated instances. I don't really care who the next coach is, but I beg you, who would want to see the continuation of this?
