O'neal Wilder has had best 400m time leading up to today's final 400m event at 8:25pm CST.

Says here the team as a whole is less impressive. http://www.mstateathletics.com/ViewArticle.dbml?&ATCLID=1479893&DB_OEM_ID=16800
But would be great to see Wilder clean up on his event.

This Jim Rome piece irritates me. Says LSU's Holliday is the fastest college football player ever. That's probably true for the 100m, which I admit is more football-like than 400m. But clearly Wilder is at least in Holliday's league. And I have to wonder what kind of time Norwood could have run.

Could Rome possibly need more exclamation points in his writing? It's ridiculous! I can't believe he does it so often! They add nothing to his comments! Because the article sucked anyway! What a Douche!

Pardon my intentional ignorance of all things Jim Rome, but why does he refer to them as LSI?

He is seeded No. 1 going into his heat this weekend. He was the only competitor to break the 46 second mark in the event running a 45.5 in the quarter mile. He has also ran the fastest 200 meter time in MSU history with a 20.08. He has done this all as a FRESHMAN. Not to mention he is 6'5 and very competitive on the football field as well. Holliday may be the fastest, but find me another 6'5 athlete that can run with O'neal. You can't.....period.
