MSU-ESPN2 schedule

just got my revised 2008 ABC/ESPN2 schedule with talent crews assigned and here is what I saw for MSU's two announced appearances on the networks:

yes, the La Tech game will be broadcast on ESPN2HD. Now I have to find a bar that actually has ESPN2HD.

And just because it's on ESPN2-HD, doesn't mean it'll be an HD broadcast. A lot of stuff on both ESPN-HD and ESPN2-HD is still in the old format with sidebars. I'd be surprised if the LA Tech game is in HD

Last year, football games that included BCS schools on ESPN 2 were in HD.

Even Comcast had a couple of HD games (Ole Miss at Memphis for example) last year and now Raycom has announced HD this year for football.

It would surprise me if the LaTech game wasn't in HD.

All I know is there's still way too much **** that they should be showing in HD that they don't. Seeing the announcers for that game (and no sideline reporter at all) tells me this is a very low-priority game for ESPN. If anything that weekend isn't HD, that game looks like a prime candidate to me.

Don't know if you've been watching any of the Sunday finals of the U.S. Open Series shown on ESPN. Sons of bitches are showing the women's finals in HD and the men's finals in the old format. Not to mention Chris Fowler gave away the result of the Bryan brothers' final during the men's final, even though is was going to be shown on tape delay on the Tennis Channel last night. Thanks for ruining it for me asshat.
