People should leave Munchack alone, i believe he is in Colorado because he's close to his daughter.
Munchack is a proven commodity at the very upper echelon of (OLine) coaches (as you know). Highly doubtful he comes home, but the results would be very positive and very immediate.
Franklin should be on the phone right now and talk Munchack into coming home to be an OL analyst. This would be my pitch to him. Spend sometime in PA in the spring and visit his parents (if they still live in the area) then you can go back to Colorado for a couple of months and return for fall practice. You can return to Colorado during the season. I really just would want a highly thought of NFL OL like Munchack watching the OL to see if he sees something that Trautwein is not seeing.
Don't think Mike is that desperate and his parents have both passed away, his dad not quite a year ago.
I doubt that. Mike left Pittsburgh in the middle of AB's meltdown there. Remember when Jesse James stated that he 'and others' were fed up with the non-stop drama of Tomlin's locker room?

Looks like a fine lineup; except for one -- Arrington. Sean Lee or Paul Posluszny would be on my short list.

honestly this is possibly the most realistic. He could be in SC for spring ball and pre-season to assist Trautwein. He could then consult as needed remotely as film analyst to help both OC and OL coach. that would be ideal for him. He can have best of both worlds and take a year or two off from NFL - assuming he would like the break.
BTW - isn't Rucci a HS coach somewhere in PA? why has his name never come up as a possible OL coach?

Rucci has a full time job as the primary lobbyist for a company that provides hardware to the PA state lottery.

So Traut coaching 5 guys, which no one else does, in the B1G I would guess would make between 600-700k
I doubt if Rucci makes that as a state lobbyist, but who knows
The real problem is because he has 2 D1 OL kids and
played the position 3 generations ago doesn’t qualify him to coach in the B1G
now MM I would guess would command $1.2 mil minimum or why get out of bed
Point I was trying to make is that Rucci hasn't been an OL coach anywhere.
Maybe Munchak has a soft spot in his heart for DOS. Otherwise, I expect him to work on his golf game unless he gets another full-time coaching job.
Ah. I had been wondering about the new handle. It’s not as if you needed to be any more hard azz than you were on the OB.
Necessity is the mother. Couldn't come up with anything good when I discovered that the old handle was already taken, so I resurrected an oldie.
