I watched the Vandy game last night (recorded it). I guess that's why SC FB was on my mind before going to bed.... I honestly dreamed last night that after beating Vandy, we got smoked by Mizzou. I hope and feel like this team is above that ('whoosh' - me getting sucked completely in), but it would be so typical-Carolina for that dream - nightmare - to be realized.

I remember the last time we were newly ranked #25 at home (5-2) vs Missouri (3-4). It was just 2 years ago. October 29, 2022. We had just beaten Texas A&M for the first time ever. I took my son to his first Gamecock football game. We got pummeled 10-23. He hasn’t wanted to go back since.

That was great! WHen he said he was going to tell the story in a minute, I *knew* what he was going to tell.... and I could replay the play in my mind! I just wish the production staff had queued up the clip!

That's the last time I've been to a Carolina game as well. Pitiful performance.

I'm going to the game again this Saturday, so I'm hoping for a very different outcome.
