Those very well may be the best teams. And I know the committee will put a premium on getting the best teams. That said, I would be somewhat less subjective because I prefer less subjectivity... but that's me. I'm going with undefeated Washington, FSU and Mich just because they are undefeateds. My fourth is more difficult:
One losses- with ranked losses based on how they were at the end of the reg season.
OSU lost to #2
UGA lost to #8
Texas lost to #12
So we have Washington, FSU, Mich and OSU. And with that I say good riddance to the 4 team playoff.
Congrats to Texas thenThe Championship game was played yesterday. Those were the two best teams. The rest of this is just feel good for the rest of the country.
I think similarly about the undefeated teams. But I look at the one loss teams and think that the first cut off will be conference Champs.
That brings it down to Bama and Texas, imo, and there is a clear cut winner there.
According to Sagarin Texas played #2 most difficult schedule, Bama # 3 and Wash. # 12. Michigan soft schedule is rated # 56 and the Fl. State even less impressive schedule is rated the 62nd most difficult schedule. Let's compare apples with apples!!!Those very well may be the best teams. I can see that line thought and considered it myself. Decided to go with how strong was your one loss since it basically came down to one of three teams. For lack of a better word, who had the 'best' loss according to the bcs rankings.I think similarly about the undefeated teams. But I look at the one loss teams and think that the first cut off will be conference Champs.

Lol. Yeah like I said earlier, good riddance. Fitting tho that for the final year of this system, they took conference champions from all the Power 5s except the ACC.Well, moot point now. They ditched the undefeated champ in FSU.
Bad precedent, imo, but meaningless starting next year with 12 teams.

FSU and Ohio State? Were you serious? Those very well may be the best teams. And I know the committee will put a premium on getting the best teams. Either the bcs rankings mean something or they dont. What I have said in the past is I am not a fan of a commitee deciding who are the teams worthy of a playoff... subjectivly. What I am in favor of is if you do x, y an z, you are in. I laid out how I would do it this year. No one said Liberty should get in because the are undefeated. Again the rankings mean something or they dont. That said, there are 13 members on the committee and I doubt they all came to the same conclusion so we are going to have different opinions which is why I like seeing the end of thisFSU and Ohio State? Were you serious?
