Name an SEC team in an SEC game you are rooting for that doesn't involve MSU/OM

Personally I am going to be pulling for Auburn to make it 7 in a row against Bama. If there is one game this year that I could accurately predict the score, it would be AU 49 - AL - 0.

The weird part is my second favorite team to pull for would be AL against LSU. Do you know how pissed LSU fans would be if Saint Nick came back to Baton Rouge and walked out with a W? Can a coach who just won the national title, and partied with Snoop have for sale signs in his yard? Just too awesome to think about.

because I live here and they are the biggest threats to steal our recruits.

That is how I choose who to root for in any game. What is the outcome that affects MSU in the most positive way. I generally always root for the SEC to lose OOC games, obviously against the grain. I wanted LSU to lose the National Title game. Then inside the SEC, it goes from Auburn (most hated), Alabama, Ole Miss.........Vanderbilt ie the underdog most of the time.

as number one.

2. LSU over Bama (for the opposite reason as you)
3. South Carolina over Tennessee (every year as long as Spurrier and Fulmer are there)

Bama over LSU for the reasons stated above and the fact that i just hate them. Bama over AU because they are getting pretty damn cocky. UF v. the other florida schools, UGA over Ga Tech, and USC over Clemson (i like to see sec dominate against acc).

My brother in law is a Georgia season ticket holder, and I'm angling to go to jacksonville one of these years.

Maybe I'm just a weirdo, but I root for all SEC teams, no matter what. I even root hard for MSU when you guys play OOC. It's us against them, and frankly, if LSU and Florida had lost those NC games against Ohio State, the buzz would be all about the SEC sucking. No thanks.

Auburn over Bama is an easy one for me. Also, LSU over Bama. I just want Nick Saban to lose....all the time (especially in Baton Rouge against the Tigers).

Vandy over UT. I'm disappointed every year, except the one where the UT players left thier helmets on the field.

My old man grew up a Gator. He bleeds maroon now but still pulls for the Gators when they're not playing State. I guess I do too.</p>

If I had to pick just one, it would be the one that would be most devestating for Bama. And losing to Kentucky at home this year would be pretty embarassing for a team whose fans claimed was ready to compete for the West.

I am an SEC fan, and depending who else is playing, will depend on who I'm pulling for. Otherwise, I don't have an agenda for a particular team. I seldom pull for LSU, or Fla., unless the game has national implications, and then I'll pull for them.

I still hope some day to make an Iron Bowl. Next would be anyone playing Bama over Bama. After that I pretty much just go from game to game picking who I want to win. I just am glad that DISH Network has a Game Plan so I can actually see more games here in the Lone Star. Last season was great...we (MSU) inherited a lot of Longhorn and Aggie fans in the neighborhood simply because the hear so much crap from the many LSU fans who live here. If we ever beat LSU I think I won't have to say a word. The burnt orange faithful here will give them enough hell for me.

Personally, I hope it gets to where Tubs wears a t-shirt that says "I'm out of fingers and toes, we've won 20 in a row"

Not even sure if I spelled it right, but you get the picture. Living in Bham, you cant turn on the radio without them pouring over the most pointless sh*t to do with that program. Saban was on the rag yesterday and spewed off against some reporter, I heard his little spat replayed on Jox at least 8 times.
I used to not care for Auburn, but seeing how their program and their school is light years ahead of bama and they still get no press here, I pull for them to run that streak to 15 games.

but for this particular year, I'll take the Cocktail Party. I think the winner of UGA/UF plays for and wins (by, of course, kicking the **** out of Ohio State) the national title. I think UGA takes it. I like both coaches, but Mark Richt is probably my favorite SEC coach save "past his prime" Spurrier.

I pull for SEC teams always in OOC unless it is Alabama. I generally hope Florida loses(again they are not a south team, they wear jorts and gel their hair) and pull for UGA (they sent us Jamar Chaney) in the East. I would pull for Communist Russia against Alabama so obviously I want LSU to skull %$^&%$ them in Baton Rouge. I also pull for Ole Miss unless they are playing Mississippi State because 1.) I know we are better and 2.) I am tired of every other damn state winning SEC championships except us. I root for UT to lose every game, Vandy to win every game, LSU to win every game except against us ( ^$^%$&^% girlfriend), and Auburn to do about 4-4. I hate every school in the East except UGA so most the time I am damned if I do and damned if I dont. Oh and &%$ Arkansas as well. They are backwards as shi^

That began to shift in the aftermath of the 2003 title ********. (is that gonna be censored?) I simply tired of hearing about how any team not currently in the SEC would not be able to win in the SEC. Auburn really wore out its welcome with me with their 2004 whining and the LSU folks still have not given up on 2003. The fact is that in any given year since about 1998, the SEC is unrivaled as a conference, but there have always been "little sister" teams in the conference and there have always been top quality teams that dominate the other conferences. I have also grown tired of the "SEC teams beat up on each other during the season and have nothing left during the bowl games." In short, I am not an SEC fanatic by any means.

I pretty much always cheer for you guys unless you are playing us or unless the outcome of your game will negatively affect us... CEO has made that rather moot for the past three years.

The one exception to this is USCar. I grew up watching Gamecock football and basketball and it is hard not to pull for them when they play you. I definitely pull for them against everybody else.

I generally like UGA against everyone but you, us, and USCar.

I pretty much dislike UTK and FLA, unless they are playing LSU, ALA, or AUB.

There may be a shift in my apathetic attitude toward ARK. I think I am beginning to dislike them.

If VAN or UKY wins or loses, I barely notice... I often have to remind my self that they play football.

My fantasy is that during the LSU/ALA game in Tiger Stadium, terrorists detonate a neutron bomb leaving the stadium intact, but vaporizing Les Miles, Nick Saban and the entire population of Baton Rouge.

against anybody but us. Urban was my choice for HC when we hired Slyvester and I pull for the SEC in non conference games anyway.

LSU whenever it has no impact on MSU. Grew up in Baton Rouge and my whole family is LSU grads. Was the black sheep of the family when I picked MSU.

Auburn beating Bama again. The implosion would just be too much fun. Having spent some of my life in Louisiana I have always liked LSU alright, so them beating Bama would be fun to watch as well. Not trying to pick on Bama here but is there any other school with so much tension and drama this year? On a ntional level only Ohio State has more to lose than Bama.

I never pull for West teams to win any games, conference or otherwise....they are who we recruit against and who we have to beat to get to Atlanta

I wouldn't pull for Bama if they were playing the Devil, and they were playing for my soul.
