Dawn was named Naismith Coach of the Year! And Aliyah was selected as Naismith Women’s Defensive Player of the Year and over-all Player of the Year.

LSU's Mulkey was named AP coach of the year over Dawn, they lost by 15 to a lower seed in the second round of the NCAA tournament.
I can see that… she turned around that piss poor lsu team. Everyone knows mulkey is a turd, but she can coach her butt off
Three national championships establishes the credibility and advancing the LSU program as far as she did says a lot. Voters often favor coaches who are seen to have overcome manifold obstacles.

Imagine actively rooting against the best program and coach at USC. I guess a final four, now a chance at another national title, and beating every team currently in the final four once throughout your season isn't noteworthy.
I don’t think Coach of the Year or Player of the Year should be decided by one game. It should encompass the entire season.
I guess I can spoon feed it to you. She won this award before the final 4, so in my opinion it was an early award. If and when she wins the chip, then shoot yes deserves the Naismith. And if she does, she also deserves the AP coach of the year…..which as you know went to mulkey…… also way too early
hey man, or woman, or whatever xyz… those awards have certain criteria other than wins and losses. look it up.
Are you going to deny her team's resume throughout the season and say she wasn't worthy? Seems like you're bitter about Dawn and actively have an agenda against the school's best coach.
