That Pitt game was bad basketball by bad teams. It looked like really tall 7th graders. Passing was bad. Shooting was bad. Spacing was bad. Dribbling was bad. Movement without the ball was bad. Decision-making was bad. It seemed like they never played together before and were relatively new to the sport. Maybe it was just amazing defense at play, but that was fugly.

I saw before the game the SEMA mascot was in the tunnel where they had all the team logos up on the wall and the redhawk knocked the Pitt logo off the wall and it broke in half...I thought that was hilarious!

Thats what every college basketball game looks like. The product is terrible.

I found this little gem about Pitt basketball. Dear God they are pathetic.

"In the era preceding national tournaments, the Panthers were ranked as national champions three times."

Miss State dictated that pace last night as Pitt prefers to play more up-tempo and free flowing. Pitt didn't do themselves any favors in the last 3 minutes after getting that 6-point lead by playing clockball and getting some terrible looks with the shot clock running down. They were fortunate that Burton played it smart by getting to the elbow to hit that jumper to take the lead. I was fully expecting that it was going to be another contested 3 at the shot clock horn.
