I’m hoping for his update too. If LSU holds on, everyone is bowl eligible except for Vanderbilt.

Assuming UGA beats Bama,, Bama would get Sugar, OM would get NY6 at-large. I guess Arkansas to Citrus (if A&M loses), no idea what happens after that. I haven’t looked to see where SEC teams have been placed recently.

Still holding out hope we can somehow avoid that one, because it’s the only one in the middle of the work week. The other likely geographic candidates (A&M, Missouri, LSU, Arkansas) have all gone there in last 7 years though.

Texas Bowl would be fine Dec 27-Jan 1 but WTF on Jan 4 ?!?!
Surely the TX Bowl officials and ESPN know this is a terrible bowl date?!?!

They have usually been on 12/27 in the past, but ESPN must have forced them to change it because MNF is also that night.
