I never thought I would say this, but I hope not. I was ready for this season to be finished after we lost the series to Auburn. There have been signs of life immediately followed by run-ruled losses, double-digit outings, and a gang of errors in each game that have not disappeared or improved.

It’s a long wait between Memorial Day and Labor Day. And I don’t care even a little about the NBA Finals or MLB. Been a rough season but as long as they’re playing I’ll root for them to keep playing and keep winning. Because the summers between baseball and football last forever.
