It's disgusting that people want to make more money in an industry where a few people make most of the money. Those are just ungrateful, bad people, unlike me. I would never think that way and just be satisfied with whatever I'm given. Kids these days. FYI, I don't think the players are asking to make as much as the CEO. At major universities, coaches and AD's typically make more than the CEO of the university. I do think you could make a great argument that tuition and fees are way too high and that a lot of universities have administrative and staff bloat, speaking of entitled people, but you just focused on the players and their inability to accept what they're given because they apparently feel entitled to something that prior generations didn't and that's a bad thing, I guess. Kiffin deserves $10 million annually and the players just deserve a schollie, some swag and a weekly allowance. I agree that this is a screwed up situation. It doesn't help that I'm a State fan and not a fan of a major college with lots of cash and a large endowment. I might think differently if I were an LSU fan, a school with a lot of cash for amateur athletics, a great recruiting base, and rich donors willing to throw a lot of cash at amateur athletes. I could be a fan living a modest life with all the sports channels knowing that the wealthy in those suites make it rain and give star athletes great NIL's so that I can feel emotionally satisfied when they win on Saturdays. I also can say screw college sports and stop watching and find some other hobby. It's awash in money and kids and adults looking to cash in and fans looking to be entertained and feel good emotionally so we can say GTHOM with great satisfaction. I'm too emotionally invested in college sports. I like it so it's hard to stop watching (I don't seem to have that issue with the Saints this year, though). My wife and kids don't care, they don't watch sports, they have other hobbies that allow them to enjoy life. Perhaps they have a better perspective on life.
