last two games have been surprisingly easy. Indy is just down, and Md QB is not right - and that team is dependent on his running. great results, but next couple games look to be a bit tougher.

watching Rutgers play, their rush DEF is actually pretty strong. Our OL and run game will be tested passing game will have to be effective = create balance. Rutgers new QB is actually got some wheels and can create problems. Hope we are getting some of the defensive players back - Chop Robinson, Joey Porter and Curtis Jacobs.

MSU should be a hammer job, but that team has made a living of the unusual/flukes against us. 4 hour weather delays, snow storms, dropped INTs that become completions, slow QBs scrambling for 20 yds and 3rd and 15, etc. We should be able to put the hammer down on them, but the game has always been a mess. Sparty is getting a little better also.

both of them will bring it to play. looking for us to do the same.

I’ll disagree in part. Rutgers has NO offense. The OLine is a sieve, their receivers couldn’t catch a cold in a medical experiment, their remaining running backs are below average, and the quarterback has a bum ankle. The defense is adequate, but covering the middle of the field is a foreign concept to them. Because their on the field so much the D wears down. Having said that they’ll probably play the game of their lives and give us heartburn for three and 1/2 quarters.

Rutgers has many lopsided losses including losing to the Gophers 31-0. Chop Robinson played against Maryland. So if we play to our capabilities this should be a 35 point victory (at least).
