He is the current VP of Research and Economic Devleopment, and a very bright and capable guy. He has only been VP for a short time, but has made drastic improvements in the research fields and economic development. We would be extremely lucky to have this guy. I just hope they see past his youth and short time in the VP office, and do the smart thing and hire him. He is well respected by people on campus, and is always open to new suggestions and even criticism, but is not afraid to make tough decisions either.
