My excitement level for MSU is low but it’s not at the 1 that was attained nearly 20 years ago.

About a six but if they can beat Florida it will jump up to an 8. If they lose to Florida it drops to a 3. Florida is the key to making a bowl. I don't see us losing out of conference and Arkansas is not going to be any better than last season.

Its a 1-10 scale. So, examples of excitement level for me would include: 1) watch wheel of fortune 2) the county fair is in town next week 3) we are installing a new gate and fence at work this week 4) Its Friday! 5) I made a nice sale today 6) watch my sons baseball team this wknd 7) local Octoberfest is upcoming 8) gonna have some drinks tonight, play some poker, then some VR ping pong 9) I can get laid when I want 10) Football is almost here and State is my favorite team.

So to be internet cool, I could say my level of excitement is equal to going to the local rodeo next week. BS, everyone here will make their schedule around game 1 so they can watch it... unless they have a dumb buddy getting married.

5 - 6 and not too much higher for college football in general. I'm glad it will be on and i will go to games but its hard not to feel a little disheartened....

2.5 as of today. It's nothing against Lebby. I actually like the hire and think he will do well. It's just the whole system. Don't really mind NIL to an extent, but this going to three teams in three weeks stuff has just about done me in. The major difference between college and pro ball used to be the connection to players in college. Now, that's worse than pro. I just can't get fired up about college sports anymore, and that's sad because NCAAF used to be my favorite sport and it wasn't close. Now NFL and MLB are ahead of it and the gap is widening. This is the first time since the final year of Croom that I don't plan on attending a game.
