How is Nick Siriani not one of the three finalists for coach of the year? I can see him not winning it, but not a finalist?
  • 14-3 overall. Best record. In a division with two other playoff teams.
  • 14-1 with starting QB.
  • Took a 9-8 marginal playoff team and improved by 5 wins year over year.
  • #2 offense in NFL overall
  • #2 defense in NFL overall
  • Yada, yada, yada

Every season there’s a worst-to-playoffs story based on a coaching change and last place schedule. Daboll’s team generally got manhandled by every good team they played.

And using your logic, what about the Minnesota coach? Daboll is a function of being in the NY media market. Good coach. Very good job this year. Not undeserving. But so is Siriani.

Who on their roster who you take over a corresponding position on the Eagles?

The issue with the Vikings is that their defense was a SH|T. SHOW. o_O . They fired the defensive coordinator last week. Their record is a bit misleading.

Simple. The award is for the best coach, not the best team. Should go the the coach that did the best with what would probably be considered a less talented roster. Don’t be confused that it automatically goes to the coach of one of the best teams.
