Great for Tyler Bowen. He seemed like a big contributor to Franklin's staff and it was disappointing to see him leave. But that's the nature of the sport and the career opportunities that present themselves to high performers.

For a great young coach, there seem to be opportunities to double their salary every 2 years by either moving to a team with a higher salary structure or to a position up the chain of responsibility.

Congrats to Mr. Bowen, and the way Franklin goes through OC's we may see him back in SC before too long.......... ;)

Interesting...Tyler Bowen was heavily involved with the recruitment of Beau Pribula before leaving Penn State. The former VaTech staff also recruited Pribula. If Allar ends up the starter, I wonder if Bowen pushes hard for Pribula to enter the portal.

It will be interesting to see how Bowen does compared to Yurcich. I have a feeling Bowen may be more successful.
Tyler will have less "distractions" from his head coach imho

He may struggle in his first year, but he is a bright, positive ex Olineman at Maryland that will build a line that can run the rock

Bowen should’ve replaced Rahne. Pretty dumb to let a good young coach & recruiter leave to hire a dud in KC
