by beating Buffalo to end the season. I feel like this is the second time in the last 2-3 years that a team has done this.

I can’t believe the NFL let The Saints lose. That’s a terrible script.

As a Titans fan, I say "thanks".
And you have to think that they're gonna trade it, right? I was just looking back at the 2016 deal that the Titans made with the Rams, and they got two 1sts, two 2nds, and two 3rds. With all of their gaping holes across both sides of the ball, it seems like there would be a pretty good chance that they could get that haul for some team that's enamored with Hunter, Ward, or Shadeur.

And NE fired their coach immediately. If they has lost do you think they would have waited until the traditional Black Monday to fire him?

By God they better trade down.... Titans have SO many holes to fill. I don't trust the GM.

There has to be somebody willing to trade up and the QB class is way down this year. But having said that I’m sure a desperate team will talk themselves into one of these guys. I was reading a report yesterday that said a lot of scouts don’t even have a 1st round grade on Sanders. Now a team may still take him at the top but will they give up a huge bounty of picks to do so? Will be interesting to watch. Also if TN decides they want him will Deion be ok with that? He said he would be pull an Archie Manning and tell Shedur not to sign with certain teams if they draft him.

I have been way too conditioned to read 17 as the queen mother of all cuss words. And that thread title is completely different because of it.

The Titans have a horrible history of first round quarterback busts. Vince Young, Jake Locker, Marcus Mariota, Will Levis in the past 20 years. Surely they don’t use the top pick on yet another quarterback.

If they don’t they need to trade down and get more picks

Agreed, and I’ll be really disappointed if the Titans don’t land a haul of draft picks. There have been plenty of teams in the past that sucked, but were in ok shape at certain positions, so teams could at least cross out a few guys that they knew the team with the top pick wouldn’t be taking.

With the Titans, it’s going to be hard to do that because they need upgrades pretty much everywhere. Hopefully, that will lead to a few teams bidding against each other for the #1, regardless of who each team is targeting
