Probably never watch again. Has anyone in college been asked this? Especially now they are being paid.
Occam's Razor.
What's more likely: that Arian Foster and a few guys made this up, OR that everybody in the NFL constantly lies to cover up the rigged scripts?
If the NFL is rigged to the level of detail he claims,
What would they do when actual unpredictable injuries happen?
What would happen when mistakes were made, like missing a FG you were supposed to make?
Why would the rigging take place at this low level where every single player (and staff member, I guess) was in on the charade?
The rigging would not be able to hold up in these situations, and this is where Arian Foster showed that he lied about it and didn't think things through very well.
In my opinion, the NFL is...kind of rigged. They let it all play out and observe the games, and the refs make the crucial calls we have all seen to keep the games close, protect the favored teams, or to preserve the storylines. But a lot of it could not really be scripted in detail.
I am too lazy to look up the data, but it seems like every NHL and NBA series does go to Game 6 or 7 now. And some NBA refs came out and reported a system of rigging in the NBA. But that's kind of obvious, and basketball is an inferior sport which is too substantially controlled by referees, particularly at the end of the game.
It's obviously a joke, or am I missing something?

So you don't believe the playing is scripted. Just the refs? Like, the actual penalty calls are scripted?
Or, is backscrather talking about political "conspiracy theories", in which case the overuse of the term has rendered it almost meaningless. At least, that's the arena I've seen "conspiracy theory" become a useless term.

You realize a scripted sports league would be wildly illegal (in both federal court and every state court) and impossible to pull off (especially if each and every player received the script). If I’m Henry Ruggs and I’m about to go to jail for killing that girl in a car accident, man do I have a deal to make with the FBI! Or if I’m a conservative governor and Kap is kneeling, time to blow the doors off their little scam. The sheer number of players that come through makes this an impossibility. You’re going to keep your mouth shut when you have millionaire dreams and your script says: one week on the practice squad and then you’re cut? And when did the scripts start? Was Dick Butkus in on this as well?
