This was brought up in another thread as "they should do this" and it looks like the NFL is going to go forward with it. Gonna be some interesting designs out there.

Also kind of surprised college isn't doing it first.

Seems like a good idea. I wonder if players can tell a difference wearing them. They really make sense in practice.

Just take the helmets off and let them wear the “GuardIan Caps” if they want to.

That’s what rugby does and there are far fewer head trauma injuries (HTI’s) in rugby vs football.

The football helmet pretty much encourages players to use their heads as battering rams…

Not really if the NFL enforces the tackling rules they have already.

Just around the corner for all levels of football..........a yellow detachable flag on each hip for all players. You grab either flag and detach it........hey!.....you made a great tackle!!
