Having spent two years at Davidson before transferring to USC, there's a warm sport in my heart for Davidson.I now have a translator

They will sabotage Tech's recruiting and compliance and force them to withdraw from the ACC which did not want them in the first place. If Tech can pull political strings and force the ACC to extend them and offer, WITH couldn't USC have done that when it was practically begging to be readmitted back in the late 70s early 80s?
Had the General Assembly put pressure on Clemron to actively support our readmission, things might have been different. My understanding is that this is what happened in the Commonwealth.
Rumor mill was that as a condition of readmission, we would have to split all of our "independent" revenue (TV, etc.) generated post-ACC with the remaining 7, i.e., as if we had never left. I personally would have been fine with that if the ACC would have gone back and redistributed their revenue 8 ways instead of 7 as well.

As a VCU alum, no bitterness towards VT, but saying this in the nicest way possible: Ruck Fichmond! Really hope Iowa's packing a serious can of bug spray come thursday! At least UVA's not in it this year.

What's a gamecock fans beef with clemson? It's the same thing for VCU fans with U of R, we are both located in the same city(on opposite ends), play in the same conference, and play each other twice a year(3 if we cross paths in the conference tournament). VCU is the public university and U of R is the private university, so basically similar to UNC vs Duke but on a smaller scale.
I guarantee you any VCU fans watching the tournament will be backing Providence come saturday!
I get it, but still wonder why no "hate" for VPI or UVA?
Semi-disclosure: my mother was born/raised in Richmond.
Those two are not our primary rival like U of R is.
I am however not that fond of UVA due to the snobby attitude their fans/students/alumni seem to carry around with them, plus I also said in my original post "at least UVA isn't in it."
