Also of note in that article: Michigan: Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh is expected to interview with the Los Angeles Chargers this afternoon, reports ESPN's Adam Schefter.
What’d he say?Not gonna link it, but Kiffin's "thank you" message was as petty as you would expect.
I find it telling that of all the things he posts and shares, that he didn’t even retweet this on his personal account.Disclaimer: This was reposted by a sportswriter on Twitter calling out the pettiness. I don't follow this account

Nix won't be the OC. That's title only. Hugh is OC and play-caller. He was brought to AU for recruitingAnd Auburn (a better program) just confirmed this by making him OC.
The same would have been true at Ole Miss, but Kiffin gave that title to a white coach’s son who had never coached at Ole Miss and whose highest position in the SEC was offensive quality control/analyst.Nix won't be the OC. not sure what point you're trying to make. Nix will be OC at AU in title only. That has zero to do with Kiffin or what his role(s) were at OMThe same would have been true at Ole Miss, but Kiffin gave that title to a white coach’s son who had never coached at Ole Miss and whose highest position in the SEC was offensive quality control/analyst.
When it came to giving the title of OC (which is a big deal in the profession), Kiffin chose Weis, Jr. When it came to HC for a day, he chose Nix and used it as a PR/virtue signal stunt.
You're saying he will be OC at Auburn in title only? A title his previous employer gave to someone else? A previous employer he left to go to a new employer that gave him that title? Kiffin tweeting about him not going to Auburn five days before he went to Auburn? Ole Miss tweeting a petty good bye from Kiffin after he left? They have nothing to do with each other?not sure what point you're trying to make. Nix will be OC at AU in title only. That has zero to do with Kiffin or what his role(s) were at OM

Good for Nix.
Kiffin made him HC for a day and then virtue signaled about the lack of black head coaches in college football. The path to being a head coach is being a coordinator. If he really wanted to see more black head coaches he should have made Nix the OC in 2022 instead of another white coach's son.
I said this at the time: Nix is a longtime, well respected SEC assistant. He was qualified for the OC position at Ole Miss. And Auburn (a better program) just confirmed this by making him OC.

I hope Bellichick gets the Falcons job. Or Titans, but I haven't heard that he interviewed there.Supposedly interviewed with the Falcons as well.
Yeah, Nix is a good recruiter. He's got a big "In" with Mississippi high school coaches. Freezer will have hard enough time fighting BAMA for instate recruits, so he needs Nix to get some plums from the Magnolia state.Nix won't be the OC. That's title only. Hugh is OC and play-caller.
