NO love on Gameday

Not that surprising. We are going to have to earn that respect.
They gave us respect in the Spurrier days. More in 2011-2013. And they’ve talked positively about Beamer, especially after the UT and Clemson games last year. I think 3 of them said this game will get out of hand.
It’s true. But, man, for a team that had eight wins and two wins over top 10 teams last year to be talked about as if we don’t even belong on the field with Georgia is a reality check.
But that was last year and we didn't start off this year with anywhere near the same level of play as at the end of last year. Consistency will earn us respect. If we had played well the first two games this year, I doubt we'd here the lack of respect. We will get better this year and I hope it carries over to the following year.....if it does we may start earning some respect..
Mainly because the one thing that made up this series through the years was competitive close games. That hasn't been the case lately and uga is on top of the college fb world. There's such a gulf between 1 and 30 or so that most just don't see it as any chance of being competitive. Plus Olines play an important role against elite teams and SC has a mid major talent wise at best.
