Do your job and I'll leave you alone.

If something is against the rules - then ban the poster who posted it. IE: 18IsTheMan

Pretty sad someone has to create multiple accounts just to cause enough trouble for the mods to do their job!!!!!

Yes, I see your little "favorites" - posters - and every time they break the rules and *YOU DON'T DO YOUR JOB* - I will be here to be a pain in your ***.

DO YOUR JOB! While you're banning me (again) - ban these flag kneelers > @Harvard Gamecock , @Rogue Cock , @b-flag - there's several others too. Always breaking the rules. Nothing is ever done.

Well, I'm bored, so I'll play.

To what offending post of mine are you referring?
The Simone Biles and other chick bowing to the gold medal winner.

If you had just said "cool picture" and left it at that, no harm, no foul. - But you didn't do that. You had to make something political about it and share your views - views I agree with btw - and that moved the bar from it being a "normal sports post" to a "Political post with sports overrtones."

Anyway, I don't really care about your posts. I care that this board used to be *FULL* of people and now it only has like the same 20 people posting......and the mods let them get away with *EVERYTHING*....... but as soon as someone even remotely new (me or others) says anything remotely against liberals, liberalism, flag kneelers, communists, socialists, democrats, (all the same thing) --- then *BAM* / insta-ban

It's just typical double standards - and thank God for double standards because if it wasn't for those, dems would have no standards.

I said nothing political at all in that post.

I see @adcoop took it in a political direction, but I was not part of that discussion.

The politicians, judges, 3 letter agency heads, etc. are setting the rule breaking examples for all to follow and getting away with it.
Why not posters on this board?
I'm for free and open discussion which I can read or not read, agree with or not and make my own judgement on its' validity.

Somehow I don't think this is the way to get to keep your profile. If your first profile gets banned, it doesn't seem smart to come back under a different account and talk about how you're making multiple accounts. Weird post for sure.

Also, I don't think threatening the mods with being a pain in their a$$ really has the effect the guy was after.

The mods will ban and delete as they see fit. And it will seem random or slanted to everyone. It's pretty much the price you pay to post on the board they run. Unless you're on the pay side. Then the price you pay is what you're actually paying.

Why put me in this? You did put it in a political space by talking about women empowerment when I don't think their gesture had anything to do with that. However, it's not that big of a deal. I just compared it to the TDS you guys talk about all the time. People need to stop having such tender feelings especially when they ride and talk about other people.

There was nothing political in my post at all. Women’s empowerment isn’t inherently political. It certainly can be made into a political issue, but it is not political in and of itself. That can be said about lots of things. Sports can be made political, though it is not inherently political. I made no connections to liberal or conservative or politics at all. Others did that.

You took a non-political post and injected politics into it and are accusing me of being political.

You can’t point to one thing I said that entire thread that was political.

I can kinda see why a liberal might think anything that mentions a particular group could be considered political. Groups are their lifeblood.

WTF?? I don't think I even participated in the "offending" thread. Geesh, this is a first for me....being called out for something I didn't say.

Same here. It may be, you liked a post or two, as I did.
But that is just speculation, keeping my fingers crossed we don't get banned as the OP has suggested.
Precarious times we live in.

Most political based posts get out of hand quick and should be locked up. But I think posts like people's opinions on whether trans-men should compete in women's sports is more of a sports-based topic and should remain as long as it doesn't get taken into a political rant.

That conversation is always going to devolve into political rants because it's such a divisive issue for both sides. There isn't much middle ground for reasonable discussion/compromise with that one.

I view it not as a political issue, but a common sense fairness in Sports issue

The OP reeks of desperate attention seeking. A normal person realizes that message boards are not life and go about being adults.

BUTTHURT—(but•hert) A tight, painfully embarrassing feeling often experienced by keyboard warriors, losers, and adult basement dwellers.

Oh I definitely agree, but that devolves into a political issue because how the different sides of the political spectrum view it. It can't not turn into politics.

You are right. There's no middle ground between right and wrong. And both sides believe they're right.
Exactly. With normal political issues, like economics or defense policy, for example, there's a lot of gray area. Compromise is a good thing that allows the political process to work and get things done. With social issues, there's no room for compromise. That's why government should stay out of issues like this and focus on the things it can do to benefit everyone, like a strong economy and good infrastructure.

I wish the mods would allow political discussion. I think it's interesting. I have learned my lesson the hard way and no longer post anything that could be considered political.

The Big Board is so heavily modded that it's boring and not worth the time to post and election years are always interesting.

Most of the sites I visit have a Current Events page with a sub-folder called political discussion. If you don't like it, don't enter.

I'm on a paid investment site. They don't allow political discussions there; politics impacts investments more than sports.

Should have a separate board like they had in the old days where political discussion was allowed. If memory serves, the board was called "Small Talk".
